    Bangor, Maine Oct. 24, 1939.
    Dear Cousin Chester:
You will be wondering why I do not send the Records that I promised you. I am very sorry that it has been so long and hope you will excuse me. One thing after another has come along, demanding my time and attention, so I just could not seem to get them finished. Then last month we were up to Lincoln, during Evelyn's vacation, and obtained some more dates, etc., which makes them more complete. There are still a few more dates missing but decided to send them along.
Mr. Parkin, our Pastor, says he does not know much about his relatives, so could not tell us anything about the Mr. Parkin you referred to.
We are enclosing a copy of the Obituary that we had. in some of the Papers. Again we thank you for the Yelland Family Tree you sent.
    Sincerely,
    Evelyn & Catherine.
